Day 1.

Arrival to the city of Pereira and transfer to the hotel.

Day 2. Touring Salento in Bicycle

Go through the Coffee-growing Cultural Scenery in a different way. The tour starts on the valley of the Wax Palm tree (the highest in the world) and arrives to a viewpoint with a beautiful scenery, where you can enjoy Salento’s gastronomy, considered by several specialists as one of the most beautiful towns in Colombia. Then you will descend slowly in bicycle by its mountains surrounded by huge coffee plantations. We will return to the hotel and time to rest. Duration. 8 Hours approximately.

Day 3. Serranía del Nudo, Nature, Scenery and Coffee

Our experience starts traveling in an authentic coffee vehicle (yipao). We will arrive to the Butterfly Garden where you can enjoy a forest in recovery. We will continue our journey towards Serranía del Nudo, an important natural park, where we will enjoy some beautiful sceneries, and from where we can observe Pereira, Dosquebradas, Santa Rosa, Marsella, the foothills of Quindío and the Natural Park Los Nevados (Snow-covered Mountains). Then we will visit a traditional park where we will have lunch with a typical dish of the coffee-growing region. We will continue with a walk and ultimately we will learn all the coffee experience and we will taste one of the best coffees of the world. Return to the hotel and rest. Duration 8 Hours approximately.

Day 4.

Free day to go shopping or other activities and trip to the city of Medellin.

Day 5. Flying over Medellin

We start our activity travelling up to a mountain near to the city of Medellin, where they will explain you how to the paragliding activity will be carried out. When everything is ready, we will run and launch ourselves to heaven to enjoy the wonderful scenery of the city and the Andean mountains. We will return to the hotel and have free time to rest and other optional activities. Duration 2 to 3 Hours approximately.

Day 6. Flowers of Santa Elena and the Piedra del Peñol

We start our day visiting the town of Santa Elena that is located about an hour from Medellin. We will visit a “silletera” farm in which you can learn and participate of one of the most important traditions of the region, the “silletas” or decorations with flowers that each year adorn the city of Medellin with their colors. Then we will visit one of the most important symbols of the region, the Piedra del Peñol in Guatapé, which you can climb and enjoy the beautiful scenery and be dazzled by the magic of its people. We will return to the hotel and have time to rest. Duration 10 Hours approximately.

Day 7. Getting to know Bucaramanga

Trip to Bucaramanga, transfer from the airport in Bucaramanga to the selected hotel. Lunch and around 03:30 pm we will do a city Tour, where we will visit the national monument of Giron, famous for its colonial architecture and that it has preserved through time. We will taste an exotic beverage and “obleas” typical food of the region in Floridablanca, another nearby town. Then we will visit the Ecological Park and we will through Cerro El Santísimo in cable car with access to the elevator. Ultimately, we will visit the longest suspended bridge of South America. We will return to the hotel in Bucaramanga and have dinner. Duration 4 Hours approximately.

Day 8. Crossing the Chicamocha Tour

We will start our day laving our baggage in the hotel lobby so that they are sent to the hotel in San Gil or Barichara where we will spend that night. About at 07:45 am we leave the hotel and we will visit the peasant’s market in Mesa de los Santos, this place is old tradition. Then we will continue to the Chicamocha National Park by the station “Plazuela”. We will go through the whole tour of 6.3 km in cable car, where we can observe the wonderful Chicamocha canyon. We have access to Acuaparque (Water Park) and then we will enjoy a typical lunch of the region. Around 03:30 pm we leave to San Gil or Barichara, arrive to the hotel to rest, and have dinner at night. Duration 7 Hours approximately.

Day 9. Visit to Barichara

We start our day leaving the hotel around 09:30 am, where we visit Curití, recognized for its hemp handicrafts and there we will visit “La fábrica de artesanías en Fique Ecofibras” (the Factory of hemp handicrafts). From there we will leave to visit El Gallineral National Park, where we can enjoy a wonderful place declared as the only natural park within the city limits of a city. We will travel to Barichara where we will have lunch and we will end our tour going through the main streets and churches that will tell us its story throughout time. We will return to the hotel in Barichara and have dinner.

Day 10.

Free day to go shopping. End of the service.

Terms and Conditions

For the cancellation or modification of each of the reserved rooms, there is a period of 90 calendar days before the arrival of the passengers, exempting them from any penalty. For reservations cancelled between 89 to 30 calendar days before the arrival of the passengers, 50% of the value of the booked package is charged, according to the number of people and the chosen plan. Any cancellations of the booked rooms, which are made during the last 29 calendar days before the arrival of the passengers, will be charged for the entire amount of the cancelled reservation, according to the number of people and the booked plan.
No reservation is refundable. If you comply with the cancellation dates you can reactivate your plan within the next 12 months, taking into account that it will be subjected to availability and rates.
After the start of the trip there might be changes in the accommodation. Hotels reserve the right to make changes according to their own policies.
Any force majeure will be treated according to medical services (emergency events, incapacities, or hospitalization). These documents have to be issued by legal institutions for healthcare. In case of death of one of the passengers or a family member in the first degree of consanguinity, a death certificate has to be presented. Any certification that is presented must match the travel dates.
CHECK IN:  The time for the guest to get access to the hotel room, which will be specified in the details of the reservation.
CHECK OUT:  The maximum time for the room delivery on the departure day, which will be specified in the details of the reservation.
EARLY CHECK IN: It is understood as the possibility to receive access to the room earlier than the stipulated time, this service is subject to availability and may have an additional cost.
LATE CHECK OUT: It is understood as the room deivering later than the stipulated time, this service is subject to availability and, may have an additional cost.
